Maternity leave has officially begun and the due date is just 9 days away!
Now is the time to cast your predictions.
The winner will receive one year’s free subscription to our blog (ha) and notoriety in knowing that you are the winner.
Here is how to cast your vote…
Reply through the “comments” section of the blog, or send an email to Eric at etjossem@gmail.com or me at lampert@rocketmail.com listing due date, gender, and weight. All official entries will be posted. The bidding stops on the 21st (Sunday), or before if the baby decides it wants to be known earlier. So vote early!
As an FYI, the actual due date is September 24.
The winner will be evaluated in this order:
1. Due date
2. Gender of child
3. Weight
All entries are welcome, but just know that you may not be on my good side if you choose to post a date in mid October, or a baby over 10 lbs.

Enjoy your "Time off" and really do sleep. I'd eat lots of Italian, too, if I could do it again. The tomato sauce seems to be a nursing no-no. And read non-parenting stuff while you still have the chance, too. That's what I miss.

If I was to guess I'd say a girl on the 26th. The weight is another story, not knowing your forced Australian diet and all.
ReplyDeleteAs for a name, don't rush it. You can call her #1 for at least a year. This gives a lot of time to make the right choice, and it covers a lot of ground. (from Star Trek to diaper maintenance.) Who knows, you and the kid might grow into it. And when both your genes really kick in she might become known as "The One"
